What Our Guests say 500 + Reviews

Summary: Our stay at Hotel Kaveka was made truly exceptional by the people, especially the front desk. We were so fortunate to be helped by Moa, who was a total wealth of knowledge. Instead of the usual tourist scripts, she gave us genuine, localized tips and clever hints that completely transformed our time on the island. The hotel itself is charming, with that authentic Polynesian feel you just can’t find at the big resorts, and the over-water dining view of Cook’s Bay is unbeatable. But it was the warm hospitality—and Moa’s expert guidance—that made this feel like a home rather than just a room. If you want a stay that combines a perfect location with a team that truly cares about your experience, this is it

Summary: The room and property are nice but it is absolutely the WORST internet connection- constantly disconnecting and sometimes had to sit outside my room on the porch- which I didn’t always want to do- in order to have a consistent signal. Very annoying. Breakfast buffet of $36 USD very over-priced for what it is. $20 USD would even be too much, but more reasonable.

Summary: The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The lagoon bungalow I stayed in was clean and the view was great. The A/C worked too. A lovely place to stay. My only complaint was the lack of parking and you had to pay a lot for extra’s such as beach towels, so bring your own.

Summary: Our bungalow was freshly renovated unfortunately not completely finished. Some outfitting details are still missing as complete unit was very minimalistic outfitted. Toilet was not cleaned and still with traces of previous ‘job’ and shower drainage was draining very slow which after some time start to overflow to bathroom. Breakfast we did not take because 32-36 usd/person is exaggerated. Beach in front of hotel had smell of piss which spoiled enjoyment.

Summary: Service at restaurant was a little slow, the waitress was not a friendly person. We had great food at a food truck in Pao Pao. Nice grounds with lounges over water. They rent kayaks by the hour and the shallows are teeming with fish.

Summary: Our second stay and wonderful, again! Amazing location, quiet, friendly staff, resturant & food trucks near. Grocery 1 mile and small grocery .5 mile. Great AC which is good for sleeping in this hot, humid climate. Great bathroom & shower with space for wet snorkel gear. Hotel restaurant not my favorite but other options near.
